The winners of the first Country Brand Awards in the specific tourism promotion category have already been announced . The awards, in their first edition, recognize the construction of the Country Brand in these times of global upheaval. Dubai has been the best rated worldwide (average score 7.75 out of 10). Its communication work with its “Ready when you are” campaign, added to the incorporation of its strict health protocols during the pandemic recognized by the WTTC, have been the keys to this recognition. They are followed by Australia (7.5) and Portugal (7.37), which take second and third place in the tourism promotion category.
